Louisa Dosne

 

Louisa Dosne has a vision: to create unique designs that express her client's comfort, needs and style. For Louisa, design begins with that connection. The relationship with her client is key, forming the foundation for exceptional projects. Her design process is built on a hands-on approach, where the client’s vision is paired with Louisa’s creative instincts, inspiring her to work closely and comfortably with her clients. This ensures the best of design.

 

Louisa’s extensive experience runs the full range of design styles, from traditional to contemporary. She is able to execute all aspects of a project from design, custom built-in furniture, new or renovation construction, project management, specifying and ordering. She skillfully navigates and collaborates with any required trade: construction, engineering or architectural professional.

 

Louisa recieved her Bachelors Degree from the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University in 1985. She began her career at WTC Design in Toronto, specializing in Retail and Residential Design.

 

She then returned to her hometown of Montreal to join Klein Henderson Architectural Design where she was the Senior Designer responsible for the design and construction management of ambitious projects, from the head Offices of Unigesco, Provigo to the law firm De Granpre Godin.

 

In 1993, she formed her own design company, L D Design. She’s enjoyed designing innovative projects for the Royal Montreal Golf Club, as well as numerous luxury homes across Canada and the United States.
